Excellent services, very friendly staff, and have always been able to get an appointment same day.

This medical centre is totally disorganised. My repeat prescriptions have been wrong every month this year. Today I have made three visits and a phone call to correct a very simple repeat prescription. It worries me that a beast task cannot be managed

Having recently moved to the area, I transferred here from another relatively local surgery. My experience of the first 8 months with this medical centre is poor at best. Some of my opinion is based on the following: 1. My son’s patient registration form was lost and had to be redone. 2. Complete refusal to help me dispose of a sharps box following medication from the hospital. 3. Completely inflexible reception staff and appointment system. 4. Waiting for 30 mins for a nurse to complete my baby’s immunisation. At first, we were told she was running late then we were told they actually didn’t know where she was at all and we had to reschedule. 5. Basic illnesses not detected by GPs until the 3rd visit. 6. One GP didn’t even have a thermometer that worked and told me my 8 month old daughter didn’t have a temperature by literally ruffling her hair. The same GP didn’t look in her throat despite me stating that’s where the issue seemed to be. 7. On a 2nd visit for the same issue, a different GP also refused to look in her throat stating his reason as ‘it upsets them’. 8. Telephone consultations seem to take hours to happen. Even if you ring at 8:20 to put your name on the list, it’s not unusual to be waiting for the GP to call back at 1pm onwards (by which point all the appointments are gone if you needed to attend the surgery). I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but, every time I have contact with this surgery, something else happens that confirms my negative opinion. Perhaps I’m just unlucky.

Yet again, rude and ignorant reception staff. Wasn’t even on the phone more than ten seconds. I’m leaving a 1* rating because its always exactly the same attitude or worse. Horrendous, medical staff are always lovely.
