Great food, lovely atmosphere.. Don't be put off by tucked away location. This is the home to best pizza I've ever had...
Food and service are amazing specials boards are packed with delicious options as well as all your favourites on the menu. Pizzas or more advanced dishes both equally spot on. Who needs to fly to Italy!
A beautiful and cosy restaurant, the food and service were first class. They have plenty of variety on their menu and are happy to cook off menu. I asked if they could make me veggie version of a carbonara with no meat which they did no problem as it is all cooked fresh and it tasted delicious. We love bringing friends and family here when they visit.
We got recommended to go here by a friend. The signage doesn’t do it justice but once you are inside it takes you on a voyage to Italy. We shared garlic bread with cheese and had a pasta each and it was truly incredible! To die for flavours, an abundance of Parmesan and super friendly staff.
Ok, as you asked for a more complete review. I ordered via Uber Eats. Delivery was very efficient but the food however did not live up to the usual high standards of La Pizzeria Italiana. I ordered TAGIATELLE AL SALMONE (Smoked salmon, cream, basil & tomato), amongst other items. My Uber Eats order had in its notes 'Gluten Free pasta' and 'No cream'. I rang the restaurant to confirm this. The dish arrived with the GF pasta and without cream but also without tomato. I rang the restaurant who argued and did not resolve the situation nor did they make any offer to do so. I could comment in detail on the other food ordered but save to say it also failed to meet the standard I have come to expect as a diner in the restaurant in better times and someone how has previously ordered take away. Very disappointing.
