A wonderful pub! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great drinks selection; especially the beer. A cracking kitchen as well, always trying new things, so repeat visits are always different. A brilliant place.

Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Prices were fair and my wife and I had the Wellington and battered cod. I am very surprised with the reviews of “poor” food quality, as we both felt the food was EXTREMELY FANTASTIC! Will definitely return and make our way to come here.

Friendly service. Food served in good time and cooked really nicely. Nothing to fancy but comfortable, clean and the sunday roast was simple but effective. My only quibble if I had to make one would be that the horseradish was more creamy than hot but that's it!

Just had a magnificent take away Sunday lunch Moist turkey, enormous Yorkshire, pile of veggies, divine bread sauce and more. Super friendly and helpful staff too, highly recommend and I'll be back soon!
