Zone 3. District line. Step-free access. No toilets. Very very busy during Wimbledon tennis fortnight, last week in June & first week in July. Wimbledon tennis tournament cancelled this year, but look out !

Honestly impressed with this station. Accessing the platforms and trains is completely step free since a lift are provided. The entrance, exit and staircase is wide with multiple ticket barriers to assist with the passenger flow. Downside is that there are only three ticket machines here and if TFL are going to close the ticket offices here, the least they can do is provide enough ticket machines to cope with the rush hour passengers.

Great little station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice news stand. They also put a lot of effort into decoration during the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

A 'typical' commuter London Underground station, except for a fortnight during the Wimbledon Championships, when the flow of people is in reverse as more people alight than board trains during the morning rush hour. There is one entrance / exit at the front of the train if you're arriving from central London and at the back if you're arriving from Wimbledon. There is also a lift at this station therefore the platform is easily accessible for those with reduced mobility or pushchairs / buggies, however if you arrive from central London, it may not be immediately obvious: cross towards the opposite side of the platform (to the right of the stairs as you see them) and there's a fairly narrow passageway to it. There are hanging baskets and planters, making the station generally pleasant. At busy times, queues can form in front of the ticket machines.
