Early morning session with my two kids for their first ever skate park experience. Staff were brilliant and gave them stickers. Other skaters were great and gave the kids plenty of room to get the hang of it.

The place is very small and compact. The plus side to this was the outside ramp area they had to compensate for this. But weather has taken its toll and this is now gone until replacement ramps are built.the inside is rather chaotic. The brunt of the parks income these days is scooter kids but the place is like a creche on school holidays and weekends. They take over the place with no awareness of their surroundings and a collision is almost inevitable. They ramps owners do however have plans for a refurbishment of the park which will create more flow and better use. They have designated days for skateboarders but as an inline skater the park is just to busy with no good run ups or flat areas for tricks. There not even a solid quterpipe or half pipes. The park is great for scooters but it not so much for anything else at present. This place has lots of potential and I've not doubt Will be a great park in the future. For now it's basic rather small and a great place to drop the kids off at for a couple of hrs. The cafe is also out of this world and does amazing breakfasts.
