Booked this accomodation for my partner as a surprise for her just completing her treatment.
Checked the dates available with the wales cottages website and it was available for a Saturday till Monday short break. This was showing availability for a few days prior to me booking.
Paid for accomodation and received confirmation of arrival instructions etc.
On the Friday afternoon I received a phone call to say that the property was no longer available because the property owner had a booking for a full week.
I queried this because it was only showing two days available, which I booked.
Although I was offered a full refund, I was informed it would take 3 working days to go back into my bank account, which meant I could not book any alternative because my money was not available.
Think the owners of Ty'n Rallt need to get their act together and ensure that as soon as a booking is made then it cannot be double booked.
I'm very, very disappointed, especially because I cannot book alternative accomodation because my money is tied up for 3 days

We were looking for top quality self catering accommodation, close to good beaches for our usual New Year break where we could walk, eat, drink and sleep well.
Ty'n'Rallt came up trumps! It was fresh, modern and spacious providing the perfect easy to find base on a quiet out of the way farm.
The bonus came with Phil and Helen's award winning homemade ice cream! Mon ar Lwy, or 'a taste of Anglesey'. Mmm!
Helen & Phil's lovely new cottage Talcaen Stabal is beautiful, modern and spacious, set in amazing countryside, is close to Newborough and an ideal base for exploring everything Anglesey has to offer. We'll be back very soon. All the best from Duncan, Emma, Oliver & Jassy.
