Nice little park. There is a work out area, playground, ball court, a small pond and picnic tables. The park is relatively clean but it could do better, however it's not the park keeper's fault some people treat the bushes like a public toilet. There are toilets in the park that visitors can use and they are wheelchair accessible.
I've been here before, the first time being the day before 'the rule of 6' was brought in due to the pandemic. The park was full of families making use of the facilities and there was even a kid's birthday party going on. On this visit, with my almost 3yr old, there was barely anyone there. The park itself is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. There is an under 12s recreation area with a few rides but you can see how it can very quickly become overcrowded. It was open although I got the feeling that perhaps it was supposed to have been locked up (one gate was locked with a padlock).
There is a basketball court, a lake and a gym area with equipment. What put me right off and shortened our journey was the shouting, swearing and overall intimidating behaviour of about 3 individuals in a part of the park near the public toilets (closed of course). The way they were going on, I wouldn't have been surprised if I had witnessed some kind of violent incident. It did quiten down, but I got the impression that perhaps the park could be a regular haunt of a gang. I visited at around 1pm not 10pm. Having said all that, I'm sure this is not peculiar to this park and having visited this beautiful place located in the middle of a very built up area, I would still go back, but probably accompanied with my husband.
Very nice park with gym 😍 many bunches and picnic tables. Great for family time.
Nice park just wished the pond was better looked after
Little park tucked away from the main road.
Has a play area for small children and areas for playing tennis, etcetera. It also has a small amphitheatre. Many trees, plants, two ponds. Very quiet. I love this park.
