One of the best cinemas in London. Mixes cult classics with quality contemporary stuff. Best of all are the thematic movie marathons or sing a longs. Please reopen soon!
I watched 70mm unrestored version of a 2001: A Space Odyssey.. looked & sounded amazing.
Beautiful cinema; only reason I didn't give full rating was due to temperature in screen (downstairs). It was a little cold but this may be due to air quality precautions they are taking. Just ensure you have plenty of layers and you'll be fine :)
If you love cult Film's and want a more from a cinema this best place to go. You'll get a selection of back to back marathons and all nighter movie marathons. Staff are really good to you too. A few film makers namely Quentin Tarantino and Edger Wright say that this is one of best Cinemas in the world for reason.
This was one of my favourite hang-outs when I was a student in London, waaay back in the last Millennium. I used to keep winning free tickets from Time Out competitions to see strange films that I can now no longer remember. A cinema like no other I know. Wonderful.
