One of my local pubs to be honest but always great service. Good food. Good selection of ales but best time to visit for a drink Friday and Saturday 5-10 241 cocktails for £8... The inside area is decided into front part to watch sports and restaurant area in the back, but the best feature is the back yard. Big enough and quite enough at times. I love this place.

1986... A large wedding party left behind a large wheel of stilton. My mum and I chanced to stumble on the cluttered banquet table several hours after the guests were gone and no one was about to clean up. We wrapped that wheel in napkins and immediately took it upstairs to our room😂

Ensconced since 1910 on this site, the acclaimed historic hall (facing away from Ropers Garden), the principal component in an aggregate of meticulously crafted ‘facsimile’Tudor buildings and garden. The entire enterprise; materials techniques and craftsmanship conjuring the Tudor ethos. A dedicated labour of love.* A private residence, the public not admitted. The breathtaking entrance hinting at the scale of the accomplishment here. * see online articles and pictures.

Crosby Hall is an historic building in London. The Great Hall was built in 1466 and originally stood in Bishopsgate, in the City of London, but was moved in 1910 to its present site in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea. It now forms part of a private residence. The Great Hall, and additional work of 1910 and 1925–1926, are listed Grade II*. Although fragmentary and not on its original site, this is the only example of a medieval City merchant house surviving in London.

This is a private residence. I pass here walking my dog.
