I cannot believe some of these reviews! The staff are a friendly bunch, and are the owners of a pillar of the community. I cannot say a single bad thing about this place; the food is delicious. If I had to give one complaint, it would be that a couple of the chips are a tad underdone. and by a couple, i mean 1/100. Best fish and chips in Canterbury, and with good reason. a tad pricey, but you cannot put a price on quality.

When it says best fish and chips in town, they are not kidding. One of the best fish and chip shops I have ever been too. If you are visiting Canterbury, I would highly recommend popping in. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will be visiting again soon.

Great food and the staff were so helpful and very friendly they always ask how are you today and I have never had any problems with the staff or the food. I would definitely recommend it to people where ever they are from to see for themselves how good the food Is there. Definitely be going there again

Not too long ago the owner openly threatened me just 50 yards away from the shop. I was stood waiting for my partner when he came flying out of the bank and almost barged right into me. When I mentioned how uncomfortable it made me, he proceeded to threaten me, I quote; "you'd better watch out girl, I'm not the kind of man you mess with" whilst right in my face. You could imagine how shocked I was with a strange man yelling in my face during a pandemic! Absolutely disgusting, it's made me so nervous when I walk past. I shouldn't feel like this in my hometown. All our friends and family know and we will continue to tell everyone that will listen. It's so sad because I grew up loving this fish and chip bar. But none of us will visit again. THIS IS A GENUINE REVIEW! I won't have my voice muted. How dare you, comment on this saying it's not genuine. I'd like an apology from you. This is disgusting

Very clean and lovely staff who made an effort to be polite and helpful today when I visited with 4 children. Thank you for being so kind to the kids and making us feel welcome
