Fishy
Chips hard (and sharp!?) like nails, and the sausage tasted like it had been re-fryed... perhaps left over from yesterday... but the can of coke was great (hence the 2 stars).
I treated my brother and his wife to fish and chips and they recommended this chip shop. The staff were good and helpful there was a wait of 15-20 minutes but they were busy. The main thing was that the fish and chips were great. Tip put a phone order in.
Very pleasant staff. Quick service despite having to cook some of the food. Very good food.
The food is usually really good. But i just paid a lot of money for large Cod and got barley a medium Cod.
Edit: I did phone the shop to raise my concern, but there wasn't anything they could do to fix the immediate problem!
I just wanted to raise my complaint and leave it at that. I didn't want to hear how they could fix my problem. Because unless they could magic a 'large cod for a large man' instead of a 'large cod for a small man' then there was no point in talking
