I went to the chemist on Thursday to collect my repeat prescription,but the 2 main items,antidepressants and pain killers weren't on there. I went over to the surgery to be told by the receptionist she'd get it signed and it would be in the chemist by the end of the day. I returned at 5.45pm but it hadn't been done. The following day,Friday I wasn't feeling very well,the beginning of withdrawal from my medication (I have been taking them over 25 years),so I slept most of the day. This morning, Saturday,I rang the chemist to be told it still wasn't done. I have to go back on Monday now,which is 5 days without my meds so I am going to be feeling quite unwell. My head is already spinning,I have stomach cramps and I'm quite depressed. The trouble is,on Monday I know what will happen,I'll walk the mile uphill to the surgery to be told it won't be ready until end of day. They wonder why people get angry with staff! This isn't the first time this has happened to me. As well as depression and back pain I'm also asthmatic and have prostate cancer so being put through such ordeals is something I can do without. Unfortunately this surgery isn't very competent,hence my one star rating. (I am using a false name in this review). Update: As predicted,I went to the surgery at 9am and as usual there was no urgency with the receptionist and even though I've been 5 days without medication,I have to return at the end of the day. All this for a Dr's signature. Thanks for nothing.

Dr Shroff is a softly spoken very approachable and thorough professional. My experience with her has made me feel like my concerns are not being ignored but investigated. I highly recommend Dr Johnson and Dr Priya also. The lady doctors at this clinic are all exceptional individuals.

Going to be a making a formal complaint about your senior receptionist had my sister in tears today tried to make this complaint to the practice manager and nothing was done, if you listen back recordings she puts the phone down on my sister and her attitude is disgusting. I would like something done already written to the local health board.

way better than the other doctors I've been with before, yes it's sometimes difficult to get an appointment in the morning but nothing like it was in the past. the doctors here are understanding and the receptionists have obviously received more training as it shows.

Nurses Rees and Thomas were full of skill yesterday with my grandson having injections he was petrified before, they had excellent communication and skill with him and gave him a certificate sticker and little gift after Lovely nurses!! reception were lovely on the desk yesterday in Christmas spirit also big improvement on the surgery!
