There's some lovely gardens and a small chapel where you can read about the history of the estate. There's not a great deal to see; though the entry fee is reasonable at £2.50 per adult. The house is privately owned and the area over the bridge is also off limits. There's no tearoom, so bringing a picnic is ideal. It's a bit of a challenge to access as it only opens at 14:00 on Wednesdays between April and October.

A lovely gem of a garden, so close to Dartford and the M25 but you wouldn't know it. There's a small car park via a gate but no toilets or refreshments.

Tranquil garden setting. Probably best to visit early to mid July in order to see the flowers in full bloom. The little chapel is interesting but is up steep steps, so not suitable for disabled visitors. Only open Wednesday afternoons.

Small Chapel set in nice gardens not a lot to see it would probably take less than 2 hours to take it all in, restricted opening I think it is open only one day a week in summer so check before you go.

If your into gardens then it's a great tranquil place as long as you forget your walking through someone's actual garden. The mansion attached is lived in but you can only visit the small chapel attached for a fee that really doesn't give you your money's worth. Was a bit disappointed to be honest expecting to see a bit more about the Knights hospitaller than a few Malta cross branded chairs and altar covers. Needs something!!!
