At last - somewhere for proper microherbs like tiny basil, coriander, even some really quirky stuff like yellow and purple mixed beets. Found it hard as an ex-professional chef who still cooks like I did when I was working in the industry to find this kind of thing at sensible prices, at least without all the trade accounts and big expensive orders. Got absolutely hooked on their sunflower microgreens, and my instagram account's never looked better. Have a balcony on my flat and also rent a small allotment as live in the middle of the city and have pre-ordered my allotment and container plants for next season from them already. Absolutely LOVE the service this firm provides, people who really understand city growing and growing to cook and produce really amazing stuff.

Awesome place I stumbled on during a walk along Roath Mill Park - their microgreens trays are amazing! My mum has ordered plants for the garden back at home from them too and she's really happy, says it's like having her own personal garden centre, everything arranged in advance and ready when she wants it. Will use them when I graduate for plants for my balcony or terrace. Big fans here! :) x

Outstanding service - first bought plantlets for our restaurant kitchen garden during lockdown this year when the main growers were unable to supply what we needed and was amazed by the quality - lovely lettuces, fantastic squash that are harvesting now, the chilli peppers were short, bushy with many nodes and lovely broad leaves, the exact opposite of leggy, and grew into gorgeous bushes with enormous yields (and crazy-hot!) - just as promised! Have been buying 4 of their large micro greens trays on weekly order for the restaurant and deli for a few months now and they're superb. Had so many regulars asking what these magical little greens I'm now reselling loads of Urban Seed Lab half-trays retail.Great little local firm who work to a really impressive standard and offer great value for money for a very deluxe product. 10 out of 10 doesn't come close!

Really superb quality plants- got autumn root veg and caulis for the lottie and they're really strong plants and all the info you get with them is amazing. Good guys too- sup[er helpful with planning what to grow now. Better than garden centre by a mile.

I use these guys for microgreens trays roughly once a week, for dinnertime salads and my workday 'superfood lunchboxes' since trying to stay super-healthy during the COVID crisis - great range of varieties, always grown perfectly to order with a week's notice and so delicious they're addictive - I leave my sunflower micro tray on the worktop just to graze on it every time I walk past! Great service from some very clever folks who clearly love growing and cooking and who work to absolute top standards.
