After my neighbour recommended Robinson I thought I would give it a try. £5 for large chips I thought a little excessive. Nearly £9 for large cod, again a little excessive. I ordered a side of mushy peas to go with it, again I thought a little excessive, but hey my expectations were high. The chips were lovely. I did expect more for a fiver. Other chippies you can get double the chips for that price. The fish, although delicious, was more the size of a small cod than a large one. In fact it didn't fill half the box it came in and the mushy peas just rounded of my dissatisfaction. The food was good. I can get better for less, but I am glad I tried Robinsons After Robinson's response. Yes. Ordering direct from the shop or the website would have made a significant saving and more in line with other chip shop prices. I will visit Robinson's as the food was good, if just to see if the size cod I had was in fact a large and if it was then I am dissapointed with the sizes

Hi there . We are regular sat night customers . We have always found the fish beautifull very enjoyable delivery on time . This sat fish was not up to standard small small amount of fish very disappointing. As we are in the elderly bracket . Have found this a life line.

Really disappointed to order online, wait for an hour & 15 minutes after a promised 45 minute delivery. I called to check up on the order to be told the driver has ‘broken down’ no offer of an alternative time, for us to collect from the broken down driver or for any sort of apology. It’s such a shame because we love the food but this type of service is simply not acceptable.

Great fish and chip shop! We ordered for delivery, the lady that delivered was really lovely, even came back with our milkshake, forgotten first time round. Would definitely go back and recommend 😀
