Yeah It's not great. They don't make their own pasta on site and I'm fairly sure the pizzas are from frozen as well. The Italian in the undercover market do it so much better than here. Don't waste your money.
This is our favourite Italian restaurant. The menu is great, there's so much choice. The fried mozzarella starter is the best one we've had. It has a vibrant friendly atmosphere and is reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, poor satisfaction with food. The capesante starter was insipid and watery, and the scallops were somewhat under cooked. The fried mush room was also tasteless. The saltibocca sauce also was watery with little flavour. The calzone pizza had lovely dough, but there was little flavouring in the filling. Overall poor taste. Perhaps this is due to the restaurant being crowded on the day due to the government eat out discount. But I am sorry to say, very poor taste on the day. The wine was however excellent.
Lovely service, very welcoming and well looked after from start till finish.
Food was fresh and very satisfying will certainly be coming back.
Had a super lunch here today, really fresh food, great service & very covid safe!
