We visited Ask Italian today for a three course meal. We were greeted at the door by a lovely gentlemen called Liam who helped us to check in on the NHS app and ensure we sanitised. We were seated promptly and Liam provided a copy of the gluten free options for me. The food was wonderful and there was a variety of choices given the current circumstances. Each course came out promptly and Liam checked before hand to ensure we were ready for the next course. As much as the food was delicious I do want to give recognition to Liam as he is the kindest server I've ever had. Nothing was too much for him and even under the mask you could tell he was happy and loved his job. He is clearly a credit to the Ask Italian team. A very memorable visit, thank you.

Had a great meal at Ask Chelmsford today. After a slight mix up with our booking the team were really quick to sort it out and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was great and felt really comfortable and safe being there in light of current restrictions.

I absolutely love this place. I love the restaurant chain in general but this branch is the best one I've been to in terms of service. There is a lovely woman whom I often get served by. She's is so polite and friendly. The food is always up to scratch. Recent COVID guidelines are well thought out. All staff wear masks, they have a pedal sanitiser station and they now don't accept cash. All cutlery is put down for you when you sit down. Our waitress accidentally knocked one of our knives off the napkin it was laying on with her elbow when she was placing down our starters and she immediately went a got another to replace it. All very sanitary. All in all a lovely well maintained and managed place.
