A fantastic restaurant in a lovely setting. I’ve eaten here several times and the quality of the food never falters - the amuse bouches are a particular favourite. The staff are brilliant and you can tell they all really care about the restaurant and the customer experience. You’d pay so much more for similar quality food in London - Hayward’s is simply one of the best restaurants in Essex.
We had a takeaway Sunday lunch for a family of 4. Absolutely delicious! A real treat for a Sunday and a great way to enjoy a traditional roast without the effort.
Loved lunch here. Great food. Spectacular service Menu is a bit unthemed, but high quality produce and dish execution. A decent if slightly too county wine list when used to eating at similar quality restaurants in London.
Its a joy, the staff are young, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly enjoy their job.
The food is great, with an amuse bouche served before each course.
The drinks are a bit expensive but its a delightful special occasion night out.
Impeccable service & the most delicious food presented beautifully. I simply cannot fault this restaurant. The staff were professional, attentive & friendly.
