Good gun shop I been going hear for years. After reading some of the comments on hear,the bad ones I do agree that one or two of the staff can come across a bit awkward but when you get to know the team there they are very helpful and easy to talk too and willing to help you. I been to many fun shops around UK and I seem to think most are like this.
All in all my favourite gun shop to go too.
I ordered an air rifle and a scope a few days ago and I have now been told that my air rifle is out of stock, so currently I am only receiving the scope I ordered which is useless due to my rifle not being in stock.
I have also had bad experiences in the past where I did not feel welcomed into the store.
It was the Newport store I had a bad experience from and it was about 18 months ago when I went to purchase an air rifle in person. I am sure if I went to one of your other stores like the one in Exeter or Dorset I could walk out of there a happy costumer and give it a 5 star rating, but unfortunately your location in Newport is not up to the standards I would’ve thought it had. I also know other people that have had bad experiences with them bringing their shotguns in for a service etc.
Telephoned this store on their local number and was told that item I wanted was in stock . Drove to store to be told it wasnt and wouldn't be available for 2 weeks . Was informed I must have been put through to another store
Waste of a morning and found the staff seemed to be inconvenienced by customers .
Drove to a little gun shop in Caerphilly purchased what I needed and staff were helpful
