Fish is plump with light crispy batter & the chips are lovely and crunchy on the outside & fluffy inside! Love this place!
They are also really friendly & will help you out in any way they can.
Thought I'd give this chippy one more try. Yet again I seem to get offcuts for chips every time. Waited over 20 minutes for a burger stood in the cold. No reason why you can't wait inside when there's nobody else there. Female staff are very rude. Shame really because the fish here is lovely. The sister shop in Plympton has it spot on every time. Will be going there from now on.
Stopped in for some chips after moving day and they were really great. Looking forward to another visit in a few weeks to try the fish and chips 🙂
Every time we have had food from here it has been amazing! Cooked fresh to order so nice and hot to make the journey home and then still warm to eat. Also got it for my in laws you can be very fussy with fish and chips as her mum worked in a chippy but they passed the test and they loved them and have now changed to their preferred chippy! I also love the variety of things on the menu 🍟 🐠 🍔
How this Fish & Chip Shop has not won best in the UK is beyond me. The fish is the best I have tasted bar none, the chips are cooked in rapeseed oil which is not only healthier than oil used at other fish and chips shops but also tastes better. I have been to "runner up Best Fish & Chip Shops" but they come no where near as good as this one.
