Fantastic fish and chips so good we ate here both nights of our stay! Very fast and efficient service with covid restrictions in place. Lightly battered crispy fish with perfect chips. We'll definitely eat here when return!
Great fish and chips - and also quite an extensive menu of other fresh items if you fancy something different. They catered for our son who is gluten free - and turned on a different fryer especially, which was really appreciated as they were really busy. Such a lovely location as well. 5 stars,
Looking forward to my first night fish and chips only problem was my simple order of one cod meal a haddock and two cartons of peas ended up a fish short. On returning ( I had walked out of the shop before realising) this was corrected by giving me my missing cod but without an apology or a few free chips added for my inconvenience.
Don't be fooled what is termed as a large fish is actually marginally larger than a mini fish. And I could actually count the amount of mushy peas on my meal deal.
But being positive the batter was nice a crispy and the chips great.
4 days later and another cod meal and the peas portion was double the size.
