Couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Prepared a vegan lunch for me while I waited, without a fuss or hassle, it has amazing too. Afternoon Tea was AMAZING, Vegan cakes are a winner!! (Love the cous cous too)

I was very disappointed to be honest. I had read a few great reviews about the afternoon teas. It was my partners birthday / retirement do with close family. The champagne flowed at 1.30pm....and the food was due at 2pm to follow it down. The champagne flowed....and the food did not .....it was over 2 hours late. I was told 1 afternoon tea was good for 2 people. So i ordered 3 of them for the 5 of us. When the food arrived, i was speechless on how little there was and thought there had been a mistake.......realistically 3 afternoon teas would have fed 2 people maximum. Anyway, it got divided up and what little there was tasted really nice....and an hour and a half later i was round at barnacles getting everyone fish and chips.

Just like to say a big thank you for our afternoon tea. It was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented on delivery. One of the nicest I have had. Will definitely be recommending you .

Came in to store today to get quick drink and food. While I was waiting witnessed the owner/manager demanding a staff member work for longer to get them through a busy time (didn't look particularly busy to me). Another staff member stuck up for them, noting that they legally needed to take a break and were starving. The manager still insisted, and the person they were demanding work longer was obviously upset and overwhelmed. Walked out, and will not be going near this place again. Treat your staff like human beings - disgraceful.

Very nice place to get something to eat. Staff friendly, and the place is clean.
