Pont Minllyn is an early 17th century packhorse bridge crossing the River Dyfi in Minllyn. Its two arch spans have lost their original upper structure and it is now topped with grass. The bridge is narrow and a very appealing structure, unlikely to look out of place in Tolkien's Shire. It is thought construction of the bridge was funded by eminent Welsh scholar Dr John Davies, famous for his translations of the Bible into Welsh.

Easy to miss, but a lovely vision of the early sixteenth century. Worth pulling over for five minutes.

Lovely ancient bridge. Worth getting off the A470 for a minute to see. Beautiful ancient bridge. Well worth a few minutes stop from the A470 to see.
