McDonald's Basingstoke - Leisure Park

Do you really need an explanation for McDonalds?

Went today for breakfast,ordered on the app a breakfast meal and checked in the order before 11AM,paid and got reference number, chose drive in option and the lady on the drive in speaker said she cannot service the order as it is 11.01, I tried to reason with her and all she could say was we cannot service you at the moment and suggested to speak to a manager in the next window and the manager is not of any help and keep saying we cannot service you as you are here after 11am, what is the point of taking the order in that app then, they should stop the app or hire people with little common sense. She suggested that she will give full refund as if she is doing a favour to me, you should refund as you couldn't service me lady. The app is deleted on my phone now and wouldn't be going to that store again.

Wow, where do I start? Put the order in well within the opening hours of the restaurant listed on Just Eat. After waiting 15 minutes from the estimated time of arrival I finally had the notification to say the food was on its way and the driver had collected the order. Wonderful! Me and the Grandmother were happy and waiting for the food! But wait, that would be too easy! 15 minutes later I get a text from Just Eat to see that the order has been cancelled! No reason given in the app or in the text, just simply cancelled. Now it is too late to order from another restaurant that might actually deliver on their promise so we shall be going hungry this evening. So to sum it up, McDonalds will not deliver as they say they will, they will leave it until the last moment to let you know they have cancelled, they will offer no explanation and they will leave it so late that you have no option but to skip dinner. I sincerely hope the manager/management team read this as I would love to hear their comments on this because frankly I think this is incredibly unfair. You would probably be better off ordering from a well known fires chicken shop or another burger restaurant with royalty in their title as at least they will deliver when they say the will or should I say, deliver at all!! Thanks for that McDonald’s Basingstoke leisure park, very much appreciated...

I had my exemption from wearing a mask on and the worker was going to open her mouth then read the card 🤪

The level of cleanliness in the restaurant is disgusting despite the amount of staff members, we was seen to a table that wasn't clean and surrounded by bugs when i asked to be moved the staff member simply removed a beetle and said we would be ok this was unacceptable! As a result my children asked to leave this was a treat to eat in as we usually use the drive through and its safe to say that we will not be eating in this restaurant again
