My last 2 visits chips been fine but fish. Sausage in batter. Beefburger in batter and mince beef pie all cold... ovens definitely not keeping food warm. To disorganised trying keep up phone orders as well people in shop..
Potions sizes are generous fish was good. Very busy so I would recommend calling ahead as sometimes there is a line outside waiting to order but if you call ahead you will get a time and can skip the line to collect 😉
Food it great and at a reasonable price... staff turnover is high and training is low. To many orders taken at once and order often wrong or incomplete. Past 4 visits order has been wrong .. more focus needed on customer service rather than numbers through the door.. best time to visit after 19:30 when less busy ( more chance of getting what you ordered)
I wish I could say I didn't or haven't eaten a lot of fish and chips in my time...but I have!
The Seymour Fryer offers great portions, great tasting fish and chips. Above all, really good value for money. We've been using them for many years. We've tried other chip shops but always come back to the Seymour Fryer.
I have no issue with recommending this chip shop to anyone.
Great fish and chips as long as you don't visit just before closing.
