A colleague and I came here for dinner (travelling from London), and we loved it.
The food is a bit more 'London price' than I was expecting, and the plates were a little smaller than I would prefer (I have a healthy appetite) but MY GOD was the food AMAZING!
We had the Mediterranean Swordfish and another fish dish (I cant remember the other one but it was lovely). The swordfish was incredible though - highly recommend and I would come here again just for that dish alone!
Relaxed, welcoming staff with Italian generosity of spirit.
Good sense of intimacy preserved with appropriate separation of tables yet not too much of a conversation were started between neighbouring tables.
We ordered pizza but when it arrived it looked exactly like the frozen ones they sell in Tesco for 50p. A piece of cardboard. When we expressed our disappointment the owner told us "what did you expect, this is not a pizzeria!". By far the worst Italian restaurant I've been in my life. Please stay away from it.
Staff didn't seem bothered about covid. Rearranged tables right then and there. Room is stuffy and did not feel safe. Would not bring vulnerable family there. Really surprised how they are still operating? Seems like complying to covid bare minimum. Food ok.
Menu in window is not their actual menu. Terrible food, inauthentic and no taste. Good service but not the restaurant it looks like on Google.
