All the dishes are really tasty. We often get some starters with chow mein or fried rice as mains and have never been let down with any dish we try. Best in the local area

Wow! This place used to be thriving restaurant which was closed due to family circumstances but the amazing food is available as take away. Bursting with flavour and good sized portions with wonderful staff, you must try the food in this Chinese take away.

Ordered & collected 21.09.18 Customer of 15 years, usually once or twice a month, but will not return. Unfortunately two stars is now too generous. I have had to change my review FROM five stars TO ONE STAR. Completely different experience this time, two dishes clearly microwaved. Underfilled tubs with onion used to excess in order to bulk out portions. Really, there was half the food we usually recived, but that was not the issue. Food quality was terrible, I am in the catering industry and can tell with certainty that two of the 9 dishes were microwaved, one was cold. Taste of the food has changed, different brand sauces used, different meat. Also found out subsiquently that the food hygiene rating has dipped to 2/5 star as of November, and has only managed 3/5 stars now with a re-test. Anyone who has spent any time in the catering industry will know how poor a kitchen's cleanliness is in order to get anyrhing less than a 5 star rating. Very, very poor show. I'm not sure if JoJo has any input left or if she has sold the restaurant, my guess is that for standards to slip this far it would have to be new owners. After 15 years, we will no longer be ordering from LJs. Very irritated that a birthday meal has left us feeling disappointed and rather ripped off! >:(

One of my favorite Chineses. Sad they don't do eat in any more. Owner and staff are lovely people. Food always top notch and ready on time.
