Reviews
After reading all the reviews on here I was so worried about how long my parcel would take to arrive, however I was very pleasantly surprised! Arrived on the correct day, in the time slot they said it would be. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 was that there was no way of being able to call them or live chat to be able to check the details. Absolutely no problems with the delivery!
Ordered some garden furniture from Aldi, didn't know XDP would be delivering it, have previously read the bad reviews. Took a couple of days to arrive, not bad considering current situation. Box arrived in A1 condition, driver was polite, not sure how he got the 50kg+ up the garden path on his own but he did👍 The problem with reviews is people are more likely to write a bad one, just thought I'd even the odds and give an unbiased review on my own personal experience
ACTUALLY gave them 0 STARS
Paid £9.95 for selected delivery date. For it not to arrive, the following day one part (1of2) of the parcel was left outside my house then when trying to track the second parcel via the shocking app your directed to...... NOTHING!!!! not a phone number, email... nothing!! Just a pin point on a map to tell me where my house is (no parcel in sight).
Absolute joke of a delivery company.
It's now Saturday and I'm going to have to wait until monday morning now as it appears to be closed. To make matters worse the depot its at is literally 9miles from my house.
Just another company who states exemplary customer service and punctuality...... when really all they are about is the profits they can make from delivery charges and exploiting non-British workers.
But unfortunately this will not change a thing as everyone will still use the company as demand for these services is sky high, and don't they just know that!!!
Should be a zero star. Delivery was meant to be yesterday had a text confirming ETA of a 2 hour window. Item didnt arrive. I can no longer track it on the app or online. I went to the depot which was meant to be open only to find it closed. Why would anyone use this company when they cant return an email or answer a phone call at the weekend.
Ordered 2 dining chairs on Wayfair on 27th May with a delivery date of 10th June. Received an email on 30th May advising me they would in fact be delivered 2nd. Received both email and text advising a time slot of 11:38-13:38. They arrived 11:30! Huge box, driver was friendly and polite and even apologised he couldn't bring it further into the hallway so he pushed the box as far as current social distancing would allow. Saved me struggling with it. I read reviews as I haven't had dealing with XDP before and saw all the negative reviews advising to avoid etc. Difficult to avoid a courier company if you do not choose them. If I order anything online I will always make sure I check emails and online accounts for progress and make a note of any tracking info and courier names. I have no complaints at all. Delivery was a week earlier than expected, driver was friendly and items were in one piece. 10/10.
