Follow the chain, walk slowly and look around. You will be taken though bits of old Portsmouth to the Spinaker Tower. The path appears designed to get you to notice lots of places of interest along the way. Parts of it are really pretty and there is an interesting mix of both old and new architecture along the way. You will also get to see where the Isle Of White Ferry docks and bits of the port. The walk itself does involve a number of sets of steps though, though with Google maps you can avoid that part if needed though you would miss some sea views. A well planned out and interesting walk even if just to see the ferries docking and the changes that have happened over the years.

Kind of permanent fun fair. Typically English. A bit dated but a good stopover to recover from the ferry crossing, or to wait for the hour. Something to eat and have fun.
