Love the Rex. Beautiful Art Deco cinema. Only one screen. Recommend booking early, all the month's films are available to book at the beginning of the month. Book a table if you can. Bar upstairs and down where the tables are and drinks served in proper glasses you can order cheese and biscuits too which is lovely.
Can't wait to return again to the Rex today following lockdown. One of the only things I miss. Fabulous venue that wraps itself around you with comfort & elegance. Super friendly staff & Rex friends. One almost doesn't mind what the film is.
As the seats are very spacious & gaps are left between each party, it feels very safe during this dangerous time. Entrance procedure is excellent.
went recently and were still serving drinks and showing movies. brilliant sound. only problem is quite long adverts at the start. so come later.otherwise absoulutely fantastic
After visiting The Rex, you'll never want to go to a cinema chain again!
