We've used the Spice Tree for years and have always had fantastic food, eat in or takeaway.
Their set menus are really good value for money and I highly recommend.
Best Indian takeaway in the area by far.
Ordered takeout. I would give 5 stars for the flexibility in that they helped us and made our order vegan, which is great and I commend them. However I did not enjoy the food at all, the two curries we ordered (Veg Makhani and Veg Massala) were so unbearably sweet we couldn't eat them and threw them away. It was like eating hot ice cream. The side dishes (breads and daal) were bearable, but not something I would reorder.
Well what can i say. Very dissapointing, everyone have been talking about this place lately so thought id try it. Onion bahjee came soggy n like wet soggy patties. The tikka starter tastes very peculiar like chemical or lighter fluid used to light a bbq. Chips are god awful and the chicken jalfrezi resembles nothing of a jalfrezi iv ever eaten before. The mushroom fried rice was not fried in any spices therefore was just pilau with mixed in soggy slimey slug like mushrooms. Overall a terrible waste of 30 quid. Could i of given it zero stars i would of. Flavours Resemble nothing of indian cooking 😭
We ordered this weekend just passed , we are so impressed , the food came piping hot and tasted absolutely beautiful. The guy that answered the phone was so polite and courteous couldn't do enough for me. In these uncertain times we are all under a massive amount of pressure but the food and service was second to none . I will 1000000% be back . Customer for life. Thanks 😊❤️
Our food took over an hour to arrive on a Tuesday night.
Food was average, not a huge amount of flavour.
The only positive was large pieces of shredded chicken.
Nana bread was too thick.
