What a beautiful place to visit and walk through. From the gates a straight 1 hour walk will see you reach the waterfall which is spectacular and a lovely viewing platform they have built.
There's a bridge that will take you off in several directions for longer more challenging trails.
Beautiful scenery and when the lock downs eases there's a cracking pub at the start/ finish which looks like it needs a visit.
What a treat! Haven't been for years, forgotten how beautiful this area is. Good parking, plenty of fine pubs and places to eat. The walk isn't too strenuous with people of alll ages, buggies, toddlers the lot. Would recommend decent footwear as can be a little wet underfoot. Worth allowing yourself some time and do the full walk, brilliant.
What an area of beautiful waterfalls! You have about 4 or 5 within a few miles. The eldir trail is just fantastic. This waterfall is beautiful. The can walk along the bottom but can also go along the back and on top. Further along about 1 mile is another spectacular waterfall. A truly beautiful and underated area.
Review for the waterfall walk not the coffee house near the entrance to the walk.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. An easy walk but we must have misunderstood the guide to the walk. We thought it said it would be 35 minutes round trip. It was probably 35 minutes there, stay as long as you like and 35 minutes back.
It's a walk through the woods so expect narrow bits and maybe even a fallen tree to hop over.
When you get to the signpost by the bridge, I suggest going left to the better view point for better views! We went over the bridge and turned left which was great too, just a different perspective.
A busy Sunday with lots of polite people.
My boyfriend and I went today at 1900 and we had the most magical walk! Amazing views and waterfalls! We even got in and swam! Highly recommended for a good family day out or a walk for couples.
