I m happy with the service there.Every time i need help they are great
Went recently with feeding issues regarding my 8 week old child on the recommendation of our health visitor. Doctor Rudlin completely ignored everything I was saying about them being constantly sick, constantly loose bowels and being very restless and insisted to keep feeding them regardless of how ill my little one was. Our health visitor advised my child may have a milk intolerance or a protein allergy and the doctor didn't even want to discuss it. I have since picked up forms to transfer to a new surgery. It wouldn't be half as bad if the receptionists were polite and professional but they seen to have a serious attitude with actually doing their job and are incapable of listening when you say you only have limited availability. Very poor experience every time I visit this surgery helping people who are ill seems to be too much work for them.
The waiting room is so depressing! It’s dark and claustrophobic and there doesn’t appear to be anything to read apart from medical leaflets. I was transferred from Aberbeeg Medical Centre which has a nice bright waiting area with a selection of magazines and books. Abernant reminds me of a building in an eastern bloc country. Not sure what can be done to cheer the place up a bit but it definitely needs something to cancel out the gloom. The reception staff have always been friendly and helpful when I’ve had queries and booked appointments. I haven’t had to see a GP so I can’t comment on them. I’ve seen the practice nurse once or twice and she was very efficient.
