Visited on Monday 7th Sept A.M Very Covid aware was my first impression. I was greeted by a very smiley chap and when I asked if it was busy in store he immediately told me that there were only 13 customers inside ! That's how well they're monitoring the situation. Spray sanitizer etc. available inside the doors. I needed some paint mixing and was helped by one of the most thoughtful assistants ever...Kirsty...she was very knowledgeable about the products and managed to fulfill most of my requirements apart from one of the bases being out of stock but she ordered it for me there and then. Also suggested I join B&Q Club to enable me to get £5 off my order...when my phone failed to scan it Kirsty did it for me on her own phone ! Excellent service...thank you very much.

This is my local b&q ,not as big as the city stores but always has what I need, helpful staff , not to busy in the evening so could jus walk straight in and no queues

Absolutel disgusted with the treatment that I received today. I am a 76 year old who has had two heart attacks. After spending over £115, I asked for help in lifting two heavy items into my car. The cashier very kindly called a young man to help. He came and took my trolley to my car but said that he shouldn't lift my two bags of heavy compost due to covid and I was left to do it myself. I fully understand that we have to be careful during these troubled times but surely this is going too far. If this is company policy, which I doubt, a notice should be put in a prominent place for all to see.

A medium sized store, covid compliant and reasonably stocked for the paint colours we required including brushes and pads.
