Food was delicious as always. Will be visiting soon for a takeaway. Would definitely recommend this place.
I usually get the classic burger which I love! If I had to leave a review based on that it would be a solid 4 if not 5.
This time however, I decided to try the new cluck ‘n’ chicken burger. The burger looked sooo good, but when biting into it, I noticed the chicken was BLACK. There were two layers of chicken fillets and the whole of the top one was this horrible black colour, which was soo dry and tough. I stopped eating immediately after seeing it and felt so nauseous.
In regards to customer service, it is so hit and miss here. I’ve had really nice experiences and really poor experiences. It seems that sometimes the staff are incredibly young and lack customer service skills. It really does drag the the whole experience down.
Nevertheless I would still recommend this place for take out and for beef options. But please avoid the chicken.

Placed an order for two mains and two sides via JustEats. Only one main arrived. Called JustEats who were only able to refund, said only the restaurant could deliver the missing meal. Called The Gormet Hut who initially tried to claim the meal was sent then admitted it wasn't but refused to deliver the missing item. Won't be ordering from them again.
Been on the Cambridge diet for the past six weeks and today just went for my craving. I have been meaning to try the gourmet hut for a while and I was not disappointed. I had the classic burger, very filling and tasty. The muddy fries was a new one mince Meat with jalapeno and homemade chips, crazy combination wasn't sure how it was going to be but it ended being my favourite. The churros was a very nice ending. Back to the diet but will definitely order again on my next cheat day was worth it. Keep up the good work TGH.
