I usually order from this place and for the most part have enjoyed most of my experiences, however I recently made in order to which I contracted severe food poisoning. These past few days have been an absolute nightmare and I'm scheduled to go to the hospital later today after days of my condition getting worse. For this to happen shows just how this place has been going down hill with a complete disregard for hygiene and customer safety. Will never order from them again
Giving it a three star because this is a Tower Hamlets institution. I remember coming here 15 years ago at secondary school and thinking the food was on another level. I had friends come from outside London just to eat here, way too many memories. But, prices of meals have gone up like mad, inflation right in front of my eyes. Meal C used to be £3.50! The service now is also really poor, the dhakai brothers behind the counter now just don't seek to care. Took them 20 minutes to make a wings meal and the shop wasn't even busy. Disappointed its not what it used to be anymore. They have a branch in Poplar that is 10x better so I recommend that one. But if you want the ORIGINAL spice hut, this is the one.
Would be 5 star but the foods just too spicy 😂😂 a great bunch of lads will defo be visiting again but this time will be getting mild
Quick and friendly service. Excellent fresh and tasty food.
1st tried to short change me and then apparently he forgot all about my food, waited over 30 minutes for food that takes 7 minutes and it was very poor food. Spend your money next door at khf or roosters for better food, customer service and cleniless
