Dr A Butt - Westside Surgery - Sleaford Road Medical Centre

Its the 17/05/2018 and I've been ringing since the 2/05/2018 EVERY DAY at opening hours 8am on the dot and at 12pm, when the system is updated. Every time I get the same answer 'sorry no appointments today can you ring back tomorrow' not mentioning the time it takes for the receptionists to answer the phone. Half of them are rude, and think they know more than a doctor. Dr Butt thinks everything is a viral infection and doesn't listen to what the patients say. How can a doctors like this stay open? I've seen squirrels more organised than the people at this place. Wanted to give them no stars but google wouldn't let me.

Mother in law terminal with ovarian cancer. So hard trying to get medicines n what she needs out of this surgery! Barnabis ask for her to be seen today by a gp as been sick n can't keep food or fluids down for several days now. Was promised an injection on sunday by ambulance staff within an hr. So weak, tired n pale can't even get to lounge to sit in chair n throwing up green/ brown stuff in a bowl. Around 4 pm rang n went through to section 2 Out of hrs visits think person may of been Lily I spoke to but unsure. Rude, talked down to me like she's God, told me barnabis has no rights n can't dictate a visit basically. I thought my dear I would hope in that job you could be a bit more helpful n sensitive! I hope no one in her family ever gets cancer n she has to look after them! She said a gp would come out tomorrow as too busy today. So i ask what we should do n she said we should have some help numbers. So I rang Marie curie n they have been fantastic. Told me if I could get the injection meds out the dr, collect take to chemist n take to mum in law they could administer them. Thank God someone can help. So requested meds rang again then I finally was allow them just before closing time! This lady was very helpful n undersanding. Chemist fantastic n helpful nxt door. Got meds took down rang Marie curie n in an hour meds in her body! So fingers crossed it will help! We need a just in case kit to be prescribed now so we don't have to bother 111 or 999 or gp as nurses can administer for us. Help is available but it's knowing what, as so confusing for family. We can only try n make her comfortable at home n have a peaceful end of life. To others keep chasing up for what it entitled too. My in laws are late 70s n 80s n always worked n deserve the best care in their last stages. Makes me so cross. Poorly treated. Had overactive thyroid problem and was never shown my blood test results even when it was high. No communication at all from the GP.
