Bought two sofas from Claytons over the phone and their service was first class throughout. From the initial call to taking delivery everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional and I was kept fully-informed at all times with everything happening exactly as promised. Highly recommended!
We've just replaced our carpets throughout with Claytons, and would thoroughly recommend them. Friendly and helpful in the showroom, not pushy at all and all very well priced. The fitters were great and have done a cracking job.
Relaxed and easy (too easy) to buy a carpet and sofa etc. Would recommend, covid friendly too.
We ordered a carpet to be fitted in our main bedroom this morning but realised when we lifted the existing carpet that the underlay had broken down.
I rang Claytons and they were able to supply new underlay and still fit the new carpet this morning. Well done Claytons !
I have just had a grand Alston sofa delivered, it is beautiful and so comfortable, I have had Alston sofas from Clayton’s before and always had first class customer service. I did everything over the phone , even selected my sofa in line due to covid.
My only negative comment is that the packaging was massive and there was no way it would come unless unpacked through my front door. The drivers informed me they don’t unpack the items (I have had an large sofa order from Clayton’s previously it was unpacked and packaging taken away ) Thankfully my neighbour allowed me access through her garden as I have a side extension, it was so large it wouldn’t go through the gate ! It looked like a massive coffin... hats off to the drivers they removed a side panel so they could get it through and then though my bifold doors. I only wish to let customers know that if you are not able bodied you will struggle. It then took me over an hour to unpack it , then another half an hour to pack up the packaging.
I am a pensioner and live by my self but luckily could just about manage all this .
I just feel the delivery side could be made clearer , that all aside I’m thrilled with my sofa
