Forceful approach to sales. Customer care isn't the priority. You will be mis-sold, mis-informed of products and as close to being conned into parting with your money. It's a shame when the furniture is good enough to sell itself, no salesmen are really required. Do yourself a favour, buy online.

I am quite disappointed with the store. We ordered a coffee table in October that was due to arrive today. We already had an order made online. Salesman just added to the existing order, made a week before, and said delivery would be on 1st December. Sadly coffee table didn't turn up and we can't deal with the same guy as the store is closed. We were then told by contact centre advisor it would be March but he "would try to work some miracles" second lady has tried to help. In summary, I am not convinced there was any truth in that delivery date and we are really disappointed. We have had products before from the company but not had to deal with a store before, its been online and I can't say I would entertain it again.

Nice furnature, great staff, disappointed that their furnature is made from Canadian oak, sent for manufactured in Asia, then transported for sale in the UK.

We ordered our desk literally before the lock down. The sales staff were helpful and friendly, no problems there, (which is why they got two stars.) After almost 5 months our desk was delivered, or more accurately dumped! The packaging was not removed and we were left to unpack a heavy oak desk, including the stabilising wood on out own. My partner has a very bad back and struggles. In short we will not be ordering from Oak Furniture Land again, because apart from the poor delivery time, in part, but not wholly because of the Covid 19 situation, this is the first time I have ever bought furniture that has not been unpacked and placed where I want it, with assurances that 'If you need anything just give us a ring'. We rang them an were kept on hold for over half an hour, but received little help, although the person on the phone was polite, friendly and as helpful as he could be. I now struggle to remember why we bought from them, but the quality of both the service and the item assure us that we will not be buying from them again. Added to that, the item would now have been cheaper in the sale had we bought it since the lock down. They need to offer an unpacking service, it doesn't take long for a couple of burly men to unpack the furniture, whereas my partner struggled. Over the last six years we have bought a lot of oak furniture including a bed, two tables and chairs, cabinets, chests of drawers and bed boxes, among other items, none of which we had to unpack, build or move ourselves.

Poor after sales care to say the least . Three weeks after our table and chairs have arrived with one chair top missing we have still not received a replacement. A family of four with only 3 chairs . We have been into Lincoln store and made 5 calls to customer services with still no resolution. Not great after spending £800 ...shocking service and not to be recommended.
