Used this company everytime I needed building supplies, plumbing and electrical goods. But after my visit today it's safe to say I wont be using them anymore. Dean on the counter made me feel humiliated because I didn't and can not wear a mask because of underlying health issues and when I told him I am exempt after he gestured I haven't got one on his response was as though I was lying. Can I just remind you that not all disabilities are visible, and the other chaps over the last 2 weeks have been understanding and not questioned me. So my custom there has now stopped.

After reading through the reviews it seems I'm not the only one to be discriminated against for having a hidden disability. 14/9/20 I went into the plumbing department for some fittings and was told by the counter assistant (clint Sawyer) that I had to wear a mask, I stated that I am exempt to which I got a rolling of eyes, a shrugging of shoulders a look of disbelief and told in a very loud voice ordering me to stand 2 metres away from the counter screen and stay away from the customer who was being served at the next position and heard everything, I found this humiliating and when being served the parts they was put on a wooden frame next to me with no social distancing by clint. After years of loyal custom and spending a lot of money this humiliation has now making me take my custom elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic service! Tony on the Trade counter went out of his way to sort out my (quite complicated) order and I could collect it all the next morning! Thank you so much!
