Wicksteed Park is a beautiful well kept park. It's Famous amongst the locals. If you grew up in the area then you've more than likely spent many an afternoon with a Picnic, drinks and going for nice walks. The park has a great play park for kids to play in. I take my own kids here now and they love it just like we did as kids. The park has been around since the 1920's and still going strong!

This park is genuinely one of the most nostalgic and fun places I've ever been to and usually results in a lovely day out with the family. Fun rides for everyone, nice food (though the prices are a bit steep, kinda gotta expect that though) and EXCELLENT staff. First time I'd come here in years I had a bit of a panic on a ride and couldn't go back through the entrance as it was a bit hard to see so the staff let me go back through to another ride and exit that, was very kind and gave me very positive vibes. This place will always be an excellent memory, and while yeah; there's most likely better parks out there with more intense and scary rides, you can't go wrong with a lovely park with nice rides and friendly staff like this one!

Fantastic place. We were late for the magical wicksteed event yet the people there were kind enough to accommodate us into the show. We missed the train ride. But it was pretty nice place

This was my first visit to Wicksteed and while almost everything is closed, and it was cold, windy and wet it's still a great open space to visit and very clean and tidy. Being able to take the old dawg around the whole park is also a huge bonus. Fingers crossed the people of Kettering can get it back on its feet and hopefully we can return another day and experience the random (but awesome looking) selection of rides on offer.

Kettering is very lucky to have an area of landscape and lakes. Hopefully it's future can be sorted out soon. When it's sunny it's a lovely walk around the lake. When it's overcast it's bracing.
