Joyce My daughter started Kumon when she was in year 5 and before then she struggled with maths. She could not work out simple problems mentally and she relied on using her fingers to workout simple problems of addition and subtraction. My friend told me about the program and I decided to give it a go. I contacted Shakeel and he met my daughter and I. He explained to me how the program works then assessed her to ensure she starts at a comfortable level. Since starting the program, Shakeel has been very helpful, giving feedback, assessing at each level and meeting yearly to discuss the progress. I could also contact him at any time via text or Whatsapp and his reply is almost immediate. My daughter is in year 10 now and she has made a lot of progress. She is currently in the top group. I recommend to anyone who would like to try Kumon to join the Barking Road Kumon centre at Canning Town with Shakeel. He is a true professional teacher/ instructor, he communicates well with the students and parents/guardians. well done Shakeel and your team.

Shakeel is an exceptional instructor he brings passion and a love of learning for teaching Kumon in the centre. His always trying to make a difference in my children's lives. I've been taking 3 children to his centre for almost 5 years. Shakeel have the ability to develop relationships with his students, he is patient, caring, and kind personality allowed my children to develop and progress in their academic skill at school and they're always been above the national standard. My kids are outstanding children in school because of shakeel's great teaching style. I'll recommend his centre any day.

My 5 year old son only started Kumon 2 months ago and he could barely read 1-50 but now he can confidently read and write one to hundred,he can Add 1+ and 2+ in less than 2 months.All thanks to Shakeel his Kumon Tutor.Keep the good work Shakeel

My son first joined Kumon in year 2 and his currently in year 6. We started our journey at a different centre, then we decided to change the centre so I researched few different ones. On which we opted out for Canning Town Centre. It is because Shakeel stood out of the other instructors and my son felt Shakeel's passion and dedication towards him from day one. My son made a huge progress so far and he currently managed a place at City of London for boys after successfully passing his 11 plus exams. I must say a huge thank you also goes to Shakeel for going far and beyond Kumon requirements and supporting my son throughout his 11 plus journey. Kumon has also helped my son to work more independently and he is ahead of his class peers at school. I also want to add the fact that the all team and staff members at Kumon Canning Town centre are very helpful and experienced and they make sure the centre runs smoothly. I recommend Kumon Canning Town centre to many family and friends- whom they all very satisfied with the service they are receiving, as well the progress their children are making at school. I highly recommend Kumon and particularly Canning Town centre and I can guarantee you that you will never be let down.

My son had made a huge improvement since he started attending this centre. His concentration is much better now. He also enjoy himself at the centre. Shakeel is so much focus on all children improvement and always makes sure the kids fully understand their work. I would really recommend this centre for every patents and careers.
