After a year training I would recommend James to anyone looking for a PT. From the first session he understood my individual needs and was always able to adapt to fit anything and any injury. Every session is different and yet every session pushes you and, whilst you may hate him for pushing you that much, I always left every session feeling so good, because James is always so positive. Not only have these sessions helped me physically so much but also mentally I feel so much better.

I needed to find an expert who would be prepared to model a fitness technique and then allow me to ask them lots of questions about the exercise - James came to my rescue and was the perfect client. He responded positively to my random email within a couple of hours and we met to go through the exercise this evening. During the brief time I've known James, I've found him to be an excellent communicator, totally professional, extremely knowledgeable about fitness, and flexible enough to follow my process even when he was on auto pilot. James was willing to give up his time to help me out - amazing! Thank you so much for your support - I'm looking forward to signing up in the near future!

I've been with James since March and its the greatest thing I ever did. I was one of those people who hated the gym and felt intimidated and embarrassed stepping inside one. James changed all of this! he got me enjoying exercise again, feeling more positive in myself, eating healthy and after years of trying- stopping smoking. I couldn't recommend a nicer bloke to change your life however big or small you want.

After several years of multiple, extensive surgeries with long & life-limiting recoveries I was left very unfit, clinically obese & had developed a fear of pushing myself in case it ended with me back on an operating table &/or enduring another lengthy recovery. I needed to find a personal trainer who could push me but also work with some limitations. Enter James. Whilst I cannot say it's been easy, it has been both necessary & worthwhile. James' support, encouragement & professional expertise (as well as the fact he hasn't seemed to mind me swearing at him from time to time!) has been instrumental in helping me move towards my fitness goals. So far I've lost 21kgs with another 9 to go but equally as important to me is that I am healthier & have regained my confidence to begin pushing myself again. James' sessions are never boring & the only thing that remains the same about each session is that they are always challenging. I would have no hesitations in recommending James. Commit to the sessions & although you may not always like it, you won't regret it! On a personal note, thank you James for your continued support, encouragement & commitment to helping me reach my goals. Oh & thanks also for putting up with, shall we say, the odd curse word / insult!

Started with Jay about 6 months ago, and can honestly say it's been a game changer. After contacting numerous PT's when I moved to Kettering, Jay was the only one that got back to me. His professional mannerism, variety of techniques as well as being able to communicate effectively to get the best from me have been second to none. I personally have felt a massive improvement in my physic, as well as mental well being and can honestly say it's been the best decision I made in a long while. I have so far manged to lose just over 2 stone, put on muscle which I'm still gaining, as well as getting back some confidence which gets lost with age. Jay also gave me advice on how to give up smoking, which put me in touch with a 3rd party and I have now been cigarette free for 4 months. All in all, I can't thank him enough for his belief and ongoing support.
