First visit to Vue since the lockdown and their reopening. Online booking is encouraged. Met by a member of staff at the top of the escalator who guided us to the barrier where our phone could be scanned to admit us. Shown to our seats by a member of staff. Face coverings obligatory (unless consuming food/drink). Not many people (9?) at our screening (1100). Felt totally safe during the showing. The (men's) toilets were distanced as were the hand basins. Again not a lot of people around. My wife said the ladies were similarly distanced Leaving the cinema was pretty comfortable. Nowhere near as busy as before lockdown. All in all, an enjoyable experience!!

All the staff we encountered were in good spirits. The nachos were deliciously disgusting and the drinks suitably oversized. The screens and sound are all good quality and as it's in the absolute graveyard of castle mall it seems reliably empty in there. No ice available for the drink though so only four stars. Cheap as chips

Its a good cinema for the price. It is quite cheap tbh and the snacks are of good quantity too! The seats were not the best and kind of made my back uncomfortable because they wouldn't recline. But would visit again for the price I guess.

Very poor communication from Vue. We travelled to watch an event screening for Halloween only to be told that their cinema projector was broken when we handed in our tickets. We had booked weeks in advance and provided contact details such as phone and email 'in case anything goes wrong.' according to their website. We were not contacted at all despite being told the problem was from yesterday. We were offered refunds and Castle Quarter parking waived as the staff were very good in handling this. Unfortunately nothing on the website or bookings site nor any phone call or email let us know of this and the company's poor communication has wasted our time as well as the others we saw turned away.

Great cheap prices and felt adequate hygiene measures were taken throughout.
