Wonderful, professional,sincere staff paying attention to the owner as well as the pet. The empathy shown to both myself and my son and our cat Jeremy at such an emotional time will never be forgotten. I highly recommend this vetinary practice and will be using it again from now on.

My husband and I ended up being redirected here for our puppies first vaccinations after booking through Northlands Veterinary Group, Avenue Clinic. My husband took him in as I was working, and his experience was terrible. I'll list some issues here: 1. No parking (we weren't told this before) 2. Had to wait outside due to Covid (understandable) and call, they didn't answer their phone. 3. Rude service - got guilted by being told "this is the out of hours hospital, I don't know why you're here" and "why didn't you go to a vets closer to you?" (they are a 15 min drive away, so we were confused by this statement). He got told off for leaving his injections til almost 10 weeks - we only had him 4 days before and this was the first appointment. 4. Poor communication, just took the puppy in and gave him back with statements like "he's chubby" - but what does that mean? Is he overweight? if so, tell us and we can feed him accordingly! 5. Got an appointment for the next vaccinations at 6.20pm, as my husband is back at work will have the car. They called a week later and said they've stopped doing late appointments so can we change it. In my opinion if you change your appointment times, you should honor the ones already booked, but that might be too much to ask. No. 5 was the final straw. We cancelled the appointment and booked in at Oundle & Thrapston vets - further away, but we've used them in the past. If anyone has any suggestions for better more local vets please let me know as we're new to this area. I would not recommend this vets.

I have experienced such poor veterinary service over the past year and half.. Although they tried to blame Covid19 recently, the real problem seems to be inefficiency and pursuing only profit. After a really traumatic day my dog had to be put to sleep, many of his problems could have been prevented if diagnosed on my first visit - at least a year and a half ago. After seeing three vets we had not been offered a way to diagnose the problem which was a simple procedure taking a sample with a needle, we had to research what could be done online and then request an ultrasound ourselves. After finally getting a diagnosis we had to chase them for further advice and medication - further delay while my dog was fighting an aggressive cancer. I wish I had taken him somewhere else, these guys seem to just want to take your money.

Very disappoited with recent experience at a vets I have been going to for years. Waited outside for 30 minutes on a very hot day. No water provided for the dogs only to be told that my appointment hadn't actually been logged by the vet that rang me the week before. Was told I could have an early appointment the next day only to ring as advised that mroning and it had just been given to somebosy else. Complete lack of customer services. Couldn't I have been contacted first as the day before I had been messed about so much? No call back as promised to make another appointment. Complete loss of faith and my dog did need an appointment to check a growth on her leg. The staff beind the desk seem unefficient and no ambition to provide good customer service. Fed up of coming down and then waiting ages to be seen. Have decided to go somewhere else which saddens me greatly.

Disgusting. 50 quid for 2 min telephone consultation paid in advance and 130 quid for meds that didn't have any effect. Letter threatening legal action for not paying for ineffectual meds after 2 weeks. Avoid at all costs. They don't care about pets just money. .
