I went to pets at home in Wellingborough to buy 3 fish for my fish tank. I have kept fish for over 20 years now and I believe I have good knowledge on how to keep them. On arrival I was asked politely by a member of staff how could they help me. I said I want to buy 3 fish please. The staff member then asked how big is my tank. I replied its 4ft x 2ft x 2ft. She then asked how many litres does it hold and I said about 140. Then I was asked how many fish do you have now. I said 4. The staff member then said I could not have any more in my tank. I explained that her information is not correct and I should be able to put more fish in the tank. She refused to sell me any fish and her attitude changed and she became forceful telling me I cannot have any more fish until I get rid of the 4 I have now. I am fuming that these people are trained using the wrong information.

Asked a lady stacking a shelf for dog bandages. A loud tut and stomp off mumbling that she was busy must have been her way of signaling she wanted me to follow. She then pointed at a shelf and turned to leave and as she did a second person asked for assistance, her reply was “I’m helping someone already”. I can only assume she meant me?. She then walked out the rear door. I’m guessing this was to hide from us annoying customers wishing to purchase goods in your store. I’ll not bother her again and use other more receptive businesses.
