All the stores are much the same, I have always found the staff at Selby to be friendly and helpful.

Worst customer service I have known! Made my partner wait outside making him late for our dogs vet appointment then refused to see our dog as he was ‘late’ he was less than 60 seconds late!!! The other 4+ minutes were due to the incompetent ‘manger’ after some discussions on the phone I got the managers name. They lied, they are not the manager, refusing to let him in to the store to get to the vet! My dog has been left I pain and suffering, completely disgusted they would treat him this way!! Thankfully this is a review for the Selby branch only; he is now registered at Birstall where we have had nothing but positive experiences and the staff have always been incredibly helpful and clearly care about what they do, we’ve used them a few times as they always make time if there is an emergency and our dog needs treatment! The vets in Selby informed me my ‘husband’ (I’m not married) was over 5 minutes late (according to the store staff), would not accept that this was due to not being allowed into the store to get to the vets!! Complete incompetence! The person who was on the door needs some serious training, laughing down the phone at me and smiling in my partners face when telling him they wouldn’t see our dog because she took so long to let them know we were there just shows how little she cares about the animals, smiling and laughing when my dog is suffering?!? I will never step foot in there again, seeing my dog suffer and it being laughed at is appalling!
