Absolute waste of a journey. Went to my local store for some "kiln dried logs"...... what a joke. The ones I went for were on offer so thought they were a good buy. Firstly none of the staff knew were they were. Eventually one member of staff decided he knew where they were, and said they were in the warehouse. He asked how many we wanted and said he'd fetch them for us on a trolley. A few minutes later he appeared with the trolley and logs. Great I said, thanks alot. Hold on a minute he said I've just got to clean the bags off cos they're ditched, they've been outside all year! So I asked if they were wet then and he said potentially yes. I told him that defeats the object of buying kiln dried logs then, that state on the bags that they have less than 20% moisture in them. I left it at that and walked out. Seriously need to buck their ideas up. If I could have given zero stars I would have, but doesn't allow it.

We ordered some paint for click and collect. We'd run out right int he middle of a job!! Unfortunately on receipt of the order confirmation we set off (25 miles) to collect it. This branch was the nearest one to us stocking our item! During the journey I read that e mail properly which advised you not to set off until receipt of a confirmation text to say order ready. On arrival my husband explained our mistake to a lady who initially restated item not available yet. He explained the length of our journey and that if we returned home and came back again we would have travelled 100 miles. This delightful lady took it upon herself to deal with it there and then and we left with the paint. Couldn't thank her enough, she went above and beyond and showed some sensible flexibility to this situation. Thank you.

Hard to find what you need. Employees don't come across as friendly. On the previous occasion I shopped there there seemed far too many employees around who were mostly sweeping aisles creating lots of dust in the air for customers to walk through and chatting to each other. Only go there as a last resort if B&Q or Screwfix don't stock the item you need.

Some items I purchased were good, but the wicks interior wood paint, satinwood, water based pure brilliant white???? I used for my doors took 3 / 4 coats to cover cream gloss???

Very hard work shopping in here. Seem to have struggled dealing with covid restrictions in comparison to other store. Not the same value as they used to be. The staff are great.
