Booked my appointment directly with Breast Clinic. Immediately upon arrival all covid controls in place. Thank you to everyone there who made a worrying experience straightforward and as relaxed as it could be. From mammographer/Doctors/Nurses. Worth every penny for my treatment and kindness shown in a very busy department. Thank You

Rubbish aftercare from the consultant. On the day our son was discharged, it was obvious the bed was needed and he had outstayed his welcome despite vomiting that same morning. We live hours away from this hospital. Deeply disappointing. Don’t even try to fob me off with a ‘please call this number to discuss etc etc’..... I’m busy with my sick child, weeks after his operation. Too little, too late. Edit- ‘high standards in place’.. clearly you don’t.

I have used this hospital on a number of occasions because of the ease in getting an appointment to see someone specialised in their field of endeavour. I have mixed views on my various experiences. Remember, most, if not all of these Doctors are not strictly PRIVATE Dr's. They are NHS doctors who 'moonlight' in the private sector. Therefore, to my way of summing up the various experiences here at the Spire, most Doctors are 'conditioned' to treat patients with a 'speed' and 'efficiency' that would make even Kylie Minogue appear slow during one of her quick change sessions at a live stage event. Each Specialised Physician I have seen here has treated me with varying degrees of empathy and proficiency. AND, I have been charged in a similar way as well. So, not on the same playing field. My main criticism, and word of caution regarding the 'Spire' themselves, when it comes to getting 'procedures done,' not only get a quote, but, GET IT IN WRITING. They will want to take an 'imprint of your card.' Pay cash if you can, and pay PRIOR TO the procedure, making SURE that's ALL you are paying for and having done, therefore, not a penny more. You don't want them coming back afterwards saying, "but you had this, this and this," when you ONLY wanted, "that!"

Have nothing but praise for this hospital. When I recently had an operation here, I was treated with much kindness and efficiency. Thank you for making a stressful time as painless as possible. Thank you to all the staff. Wonderful people.

Nothing but praise for the staff at the spire. Couldn't do enough for you. I felt like I was in a hotel not a hospital. My nurse on day surgery 02.10.20 was Gemma. Can't thank her enough for being fab. My waiting time for my op was the only Dow side but that happens.
