Store First Mansfield

Its the kinda place that does what the name suggests, and does it well. Range of locker sizes, lots of trolleys, big lift, doors open all the way and no signs of rodent activity. Two faults: no music in lift and if you get locked in youre screwed.

Spent a few years at this facility until recently leaving after having my unit broken into in November 2019. Located on the top floor with only flimsy metal meshing as a ceiling and a 12" gap at the end, someone accessed my unit by climbing across the interior girders which they would have to access from inside another top floor unit in the building and reaching down through the gap, grabbing several items. (Fresh foot and hand prints clearly visible on the heavily dusty girders above) When reporting this the manager was on annual leave and the two other staff were quite new to the job but did their best to help. I was left to contact the area manager who did get the gap in my ceiling secured after several email exchanges, but never came down to the facility himself and neither was a proper investigation carried out to catch whoever stole from my unit. Even though the gap was secured in my unit I still didn't feel my goods were safe as the metal mesh ceiling is flimsy and can easy be peeled up, and on requesting to be moved to a ground floor unit of the same size with a proper ceiling where I would have felt safer I was told I would have to pay more???, so over the following days I removed all my goods and left. For a company who claim security is at the heart of everything they do, they have a very peculiar way of showing it, even at times being made to feel I was lying despite all the evidence I presented to them. They were just not interested.

Very nice place to stor thinks and clean but very narrow between storages. Also I think prices are a bit to big
